Story of Sea Sense ...

Writer's picture: Anh NguyenAnh Nguyen

In 2003, a young and educated couple from Sai Gon embarked on a journey to Phu Quoc Island, a remote and wild paradise that captured their hearts. With its brown sand roads, wild long beaches, and only three resorts available, the island was a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Their experiences on the island was unforgettable. They spent their days exploring the untouched natural beauty of the island, indulging in the delicious seafood, and immersing themselves in the local culture. As they learned more about the island's history and the challenges faced by the local people, they began to think of ways to help.

Inspired to make a difference, the couple decided to change their investment ideas and put all their interest in this island. They had a dream to create more jobs for the local people and transform the island into a nice destination for tourists. They started by building Charm Resort, a three-star resort with a design based on wooden ancient houses of Vietnam. It was a challenging task, but they kept their start-up wish alive and finally served their first Italian guest couple, who insisted on staying for a month....

After the success of Phu Quoc Charm Resort, the couple continued to chase their dreams in hospitality, and opened their second resort, Terrace Phu Quoc Resort, in 2014. It was a three-star stiff hill tropical garden resort with 18 bungalows and one infinitive pool, and it was almost fully booked from the beginning.

With their persistence and dedication, the couple opened Sea Sense Resort, a well-known four-star beach resort, in early 2015. Sea Sense is located on a hill at Ong Lang beach, one of the beautiful beaches and known as a remote beach for lonely people.

Sea Sense Resort has a total of 85 sea view or beachfront bungalows, surrounded by natural green tropical jungle and coconut trees. The resort has a very private and beautiful long beach with both sandy and rocky areas. Sunbathing places are set up along the beach for guests to enjoy.
